Here's another shot from my roll of Walgreens 200 speed film. It wasn't much to look at so I decided to try out the Photoshop action that I found over at Redscreen. It's a LOMO effect done in Photoshop. A LOMO is a Russian made toy camera. A popular camera among photobloggers. The camera has a look that's rather unique. It produces highly saturated, very contrasty images. The popularity of the camera has the price up though and it seems a little steep to me considering it's a plastic toy camera. You could argue that any camera in my hands is a toy but that's a different matter.

It comes close to looking like a lomo, but it's too sharp! Make a print, wipe your nose on it, and then scan it on one of those $50 scanners from walmart. Then you'll be there!
Have you ever been told before that your photo fails because it's too good?

Posted by: Joe at June 25, 2003 9:15 AMI love it: very atmospheric. Harry's right though, far too sharp for a Lomo!
Posted by: sue bailey at June 25, 2003 7:06 PMThe vignetting is also not not good, not dark enough and it looks to much like a photoshop brush.
You could also try to play with the colors.
