This is a crop from the original negative. I saw this lone wild flower along the bank of the river while out shooting some pictures. It was probably over six feet tall but since the bank slopes down I was eye level with the top part of the plant. That's where the flowers are anyway so it worked out well.

There are these other wildflowers that I've had my eye on for the past couple weeks. I see them along the side of the road on my way to and from work. I never stop to take their picture because there never seems to be a good place to pull over out of traffic. Erin brought home a few clippings from these flowers and put them in a vase. Last night I shot some pictures of the flowers. I hope I got some decent shots of them. We'll see soon enough.

Really pretty. It would be fun to go back to see if it is in full-bloom. I can't tell from this picture if it is in early or late-stage bloom.

Never seen anything like that before. It's rather phallic. Good shot, though.
