McCloud Nature Park

Photo taken with a Nikon N80, 28-105, Walgreens 200 speed film.

Yesterday we went out for a car ride in hopes of finding the McCloud Nature Park. I had hopes of finding something to take pictures of while spending the day with the family. We had gotten a little too much sun on Saturday and we weren't prepared to be out walking around when we found the park. The car ride was more our speed it seemed. The air conditioning, the relaxing country roads, the time together was good for us. I was able to shoot a couple rolls of film and would like to go back again sometime. I'll be posting some pictures over the next few days of some of the flowers that we saw while at the park.

Howdy, I was the 1st Interpretive Naturalist at McCLoud last summer, and was happy to find this in the web. Did you take any other pictures that you could post. I am back in Ohio , now and really miss the down to earth just plain good folks that bounded through the park all summer.
I kinda laughed AT SEEING THE jAPANESE BEETLE so beautifully posing on the Buddliae, as him/her and friends laced all of the rose bushes last summer. ...but they are indeed an important part of the food chain too. Take a walk on the "4 "and "5" this spring and you are bound to find many other wildflower beauties.
Hopefully by now theyve given those trails some real names.
