This latest series of images are probably going to leave a lot of people wondering. Well, I wanted to take some pictures of the trees in our back yard. I thought that the bark on the trees would look best if captured with black and white film. That's why I bought the Kodak Black & White film yesterday. I want to get some experience with this film. People can spend a life time shooting only one type of film . I don't think I'll master the film and that's not what I'm trying to do. I just want to get a better feel for how it captures images to be able to formulate and image in my mind before I press the shutter. I need to get me some filters to use with B&W film. We'll see how things progress. Feel free to comment or leave me some feedback.

Posted by: Jon at August 13, 2003 12:35 PMHey, I had the same idea too. I took B/W images of the bark on trees last week. They aren't posted anywhere but I like how they turned out. I like yours too.
