New cell phone

I mentioned a few weeks ago that we got new cell phones. Erin and I made the switch to Verizon Wireless. We each got a new Motorola T720 phone. The combination has been great. The calls are clear. The phones are nice. The coverage is what we were wanting. Everything seems to be what working out great. It's just that I've been getting calls for some guy named Troy. I'm not Troy. This is not Troy's phone number. Stop calling. I've told the same person repeatedly that they have dialed the wrong number. It's starting to get under my skin. For those of you that don't know me, I'll put it in to perspective. I think I've gotten four or five wrong number calls. That's enough to get under my skin. They weren't even on the same day. It won't be too many more until I request a new number.

You know, I think Verizon recycles their numbers quite frequently. I get calls every once in a while asking for "Michael." Which is confusing, because my name is Michael. But they are wanting to talk to a Michael Chen. He's obviously asian decent, because some of these people speak chinese to me!!

Anyways, my wife has a seperate number through Verizon. She gets calls asking for Tara, which is her name also. But its also a different Tara that they are trying to reach.

It's quite odd. After about 6 months we hardly get them anymore. But we were getting annoyed also.

Might as well request a new number before you start giving the current number out to everyone.
