The Interview Game

Laura over at emptyPictures is playing the interview game. She offered five questions to the first 5 people to comment on her site. Here are the questions she had for me.

1. What did you want to be when you grew up? I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with computers. That's what I do now. But know I wonder if I've grown up yet and if this is really what I want to do when I do grow up.
2. Name 5 things under your sink.

  • Electrosol
  • Dawn
  • A sponge
  • Swiffer refills
  • Lysol Kitichen cleaner
3. Breakfast lunch or dinner? You shouldn't skip meals. I eat all three.
4. You're taking a long road trip! Who are you going with and where? Erin and the kids. We're going to one of the National Parks. Probably Mt. Rushmore.
5. What's the last thing you do at night before going to bed? Tell Erin good night.

Thanks for the questions Laura. If you want to be interviewed just let me know and I'll think up some questions for you to answer. Leave me a comment asking to be interviewed.

THE RULES 1. leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed. 2. i will respond; i'll ask you five questions. 3. you'll update your website with your five answers. 4. you'll include this explanation. 5. you'll in turn ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

B&W images

This latest series of images are probably going to leave a lot of people wondering. Well, I wanted to take some pictures of the trees in our back yard. I thought that the bark on the trees would look best if captured with black and white film. That's why I bought the Kodak Black & White film yesterday. I want to get some experience with this film. People can spend a life time shooting only one type of film . I don't think I'll master the film and that's not what I'm trying to do. I just want to get a better feel for how it captures images to be able to formulate and image in my mind before I press the shutter. I need to get me some filters to use with B&W film. We'll see how things progress. Feel free to comment or leave me some feedback.

Black & White

I bought a box of Kodak Black & White + film today. I've done some reading on the film and I've had some ideas that I want to try out with black & white film. I know that summer is still here for a while and I should be shooting all the colors that I can while it lasts. But oh well, I'm going to shoot some anyway. Besides, there are a lot of great flower pictures done with B&W film. Hopefully I'll have some images to post from these three rolls of film over the next few days.
