I've got the next 6 days off work. It's the last of my vacation time for the past cycle. Starting in July I get a fresh batch of days to last me through to next year. I wonder what I'll do with my time. I'd like to take some pictures and I plan on spending some of the time studying for my Security+ exam. I hope to have that out of the way before I head off to D.C. for SANS.
I found this over at Red and Purple Haze
I got a gmail invite from a guy here at work. If you don't know what gmail is then let me tell you a little about it. It's a free email account but without those messages saying you're over your limit. Gmail gives you 1000mb of storage to keep your email. They claim you won't have to throw anything away. It's a google product. We'll see how things shake out with gmail.
I was reading through a magazine last night when I saw something about a product that helps you display your photos online. It's called Photosite. It looks pretty neat. They give you a free account and you download some software that helps you do the layout of your photos and then it will publish them online for you. That's all nice, well and good. I just worry about what a person might be unknowingly giving away by using a this type of service. If you have pictures you would like to put online and don't want to go through the hassle of running a website then this would probably be a great thing. I think it looks very nice.
