The New Year will be here in just a few days. It's that time to start thinking about the resolutions that I would like to make for the new year. A few years ago we purchased a treadmill to ring in the new year with a healthy note. I used it for all of about 7 months. That's probably a good bit longer than most people use their new years exercise equipment. In fact the reason I stopped using it was because it broke and in the time it took to get repaired I fell off the wagon.
So again this New Year I think I want to get back on the treadmill and give it another try. That's one resolution. I wonder how many more I need to come up with by January 1st.
Tonight I made some chili and I decided that I would write down the recipe that I used tonight since I measured everything out. I thought it turned out tasting just fine. My wife doesn't like the pasta so feel free to substitute other shapes or leave out completely.
In a large pot brown ground beef and sausage. When the meat is cooked add beans, tomatoes, seasoning, tomato juice and water. Bring to a simmer and add pasta. Cook until pasta is desired tenderness.
